Hello you, welcome to my site. I am a stand-up comedian based in Manchester but originally from Stockport. You might be thinking ‘isn’t Stockport in Manchester?’ and you’d be right, but it’s in Greater Manchester and some people can be pedantic.

I did my first gig in December 2002 and since then I’ve done loads more. In 2004 I set up the 'Coachload of Comedy' night at The Coach and Four Pub' in Wilmslow, where I am the resident compere and in 2010 I did my first Edinburgh Fringe Show, ‘Mr Famous’. The Scotsman newspaper reviewed the show and said ‘…his hair is immaculate.’ They also said ‘perfectly crafted’ and ‘pin sharp’ but let’s not dwell on that.

I returned to Edinburgh in 2011 with a new show, ‘Mike Newall’s Get Better Box’. That same year, I headlined the prestigious ‘Big Value Comedy’ early show. In 2012 I didn’t bother going to the fringe as I was ‘forced’ to attend 6 weddings, which has now become the subject and title of my 2013 Edinburgh Fringe show, For details click here
